Whenever I’m feeling deeply confused about life and my direction my brain is like “Okay. Time to get sexier” Like girl that is not the solution every time
I’m sure I said it somewhere else, but I’ll say it again: please don’t feel ashamed or guilty when esoteric or spiritual practices need to be put on the back burner when you’re dealing with stressful things in your life.
I’ve spent the past month and a half facing one challenge after another at work, and as a result, I’ve only kept to the small daily rituals that could be done in a minute or less. And that’s okay.
Spiritual practices will still be there when it’s time to return to them. The gods will still be there when it’s time to make offerings again. Your ancestors and spirit guides are always with you, even if there are times when you don’t interact with them as much.
It is okay to prioritize things that aren’t your spiritual journey. It’s a journey, not a race.
My wife and I are in danger of losing our apartment and becoming house less by October 1st if we can’t pay our rent. We are currently behind a month and a half in rent. And also trying to save up for Septembers rent. We both suffer from severe mental illness. Recently my wife was able to find a very part time job where she works for 2 days out of the week. I haven’t had such luck so it has been extremely difficult to keep up with our never ending stack of bills. We have been very lucky to be able to pay our rent up until now but we have completely run out of resources and have nowhere else to turn but here. Please help us if you can and if you can not I just ask that you please reblog this post so that maybe someone who can help us will see it! This has been an exhausting and very emotionally traumatic time in our lives. We really appreciate all the people who have helped us and continue to during this time. Thank you.
